Aril's October Post - Visiting the Holy Land

The month of October has been crazy for me.

I had the wonderful opportunity of traveling to Israel for work. I coordinated a tour for some of our partners and got to go myself and make sure things went as planned. I had been once before but it was several years ago. Being back was such a great experience. The people I met were amazing and being able to be back was incredible. Beautiful sights as well as such significance all around. The Bible came to life again as I saw places mentioned in the Gospels. It was a completely different experience since I was working most of the time but one that I wouldn't trade.

I highly suggest going for a visit if you have never been. It will change your life.
View of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives.

The Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem - people come here for  Shabbat and pray. Many place prayers written on pieces of paper and shove them in the holes of the wall.

The Dead Sea - which most of us got in. You float without even trying! :)

Miri (a lovely girl that works for GOD TV in the Israel office) and I pose for a picture at Qumran.

We visited the Garden Tomb - the place they believe Jesus was laid after his crucifixion.  Praise the Lord that he is no longer in that tomb!
